| Mercy Regional Medical Center's 16th Annual Community Classic Charity Golf & Tennis Tournament The Mercy Health Foundation has sponsored this fun and successful golf and tennis tournament for 15 years in support of programs, services and equipment for Mercy’s patients and families. Last year's tournament raised money for the new Breast Care Center at Mercy Regional Medical Center. This year's charity event will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Dalton Ranch for a 9am shotgun start with proceeds to benefit Mercy Regional Medical Center’s Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence. Mercy Regional Medical Center and Mercy Health Foundation is making an investment in the future of orthopedic and spine services through the advancement in surgical techniques and education of staff and patients. We serve all ages of our community from all walks of life whether you are a professional athlete, recreational athlete or just want to walk and be active again without pain. Mercy must keep up with changing technology, extensive use of surgical equipment, offer more minimally invasive procedures, recruit and retain physicians and staff to maintain our standard of excellence. Mercy strives for excellence and honors life of all patients to help create a highly livable, full service community adding vitality and vibrancy to the region. When a patient is in pain because of joint injury or disease, their entire health is affected because of lack of movement. Mercy has dedicated professionals implementing best practices that ultimately improve each patients experience and clinical outcome.
